My Birthday Week!

This past Wednesday I celebrated my 57th Birthday. We have been living for the past year and a half to two years without a sofa in our living room. All we had was two huge recliners (one for me and one for Danny) and I have been nearly begging for one far a while now. I decided to look on Craigs List and I found two that I liked. My first choice was a maroon leather sofa and so I emailed the owner and by the end of the next day I hadn't heard back from them so I found another sofa. The second one was a Floral tapestry which was my second choice. We decided to go look at it and we brought her home. Later that night I got a response from the owner of the leather sofa and I felt physically sick.........because that was the one I wanted. I pondered over it all night and the next day I contacted the owner and she came off the price by 30%. I got Danny to go look at it and we brought her home too. I am soooo HAPPY!! The floral one was my Birthday present from Danny and the leather one was from me to me. Now we have wall to wall sitting space.

Saturday after making our CVS run Crystal and I decided to go do a little shopping. We went to TJMaxx , we went to O'Charlie's where Crystal treated me to lunch, THANKS Crystal, then we went over to J C Penny's. They had alot of things maked on clearance. We got to looking around and Crystal spotted a lamp still in the box which was regular $260 marked down to $19.99. I grabbed it because I NEED lamps really badly. I went over to where the other lamps were and found the mate to this one as well. JCPenny's also had a coupon for $10 off $50 so I found me a set of $95 king size sheets on clearance for $19.99 as well. I came home with $615.00 worth of merchandise for $54.77.

We rushed home unloaded everything and I had to quickly jump in the shower because I was being took out for a second time that day by two of my AWESOME friends....Beth and Renee! They treated me to dinner at the place of my choice which was Olive Garden. THANKS Girls!
After we ate we came back to my house for a rip-roaring game of Scrabble and cheese cake thanks to Beth!

Crystal and Daniel are giving me a new bird feeder for my front yard also. Can't wait. I LOVE to sit out on my front porch swing and watch the birds.

It has been a truly AWESOME Birthday week.
